Iridium is the only provider of truly global satellite voice and data solutions with complete coverage of the earth (including oceans, airways and Polar Regions). Iridium phones deliver essential communications services to and from remote areas where no other form of communication is available.

Rental Start
This is the date that the phone is delivered to you. This is the first day of the rental and we recommend having the device arrive at least a day or 2 prior to your departure. We are unable to deliver phones on weekends or holidays.

Rental Duration
The rental duration is the time from the start date until the phone is received back at our Dublin warehouse.  

Additional Airtime
Each rental includes free airtime minutes meant for testing your phone and a few complimentary check ins.  Pre-purchasing extra minutes is not required to keep talking on your phone. Minutes, after your included minutes are used, are billed at $1.49/ Minute. If you are confident you are going to use more than what is included, you can pre purchase minutes at a reduced rate.

Return Info
Return by courier with tracking, insurance and signature confirmation to: Europa Satellite, ATTN Rental Returns, 6 Fern Road, Sandyford, Dublin, D18 FP98, Ireland.

Return Waybill
Ease shipping back by selecting the return waybill. You will receive a printer, prepaid sticker in the box with your device. Simply replace the device into the box when you are done with it and contact DHL for a free pick up. Return Waybills may not be available from all locations.

Rental Insurance
Our rental insurance protects the renter from any costs involving damage (except water) or theft. Damaged items must be returned. In the case of theft, a police report or constables letter must be obtained. The insurance does not cover regular loss or water damage.

The Fine Print
All our Iridium 9555 satellite phone rentals require a 500 euro deposit (government and accredited educational institutions as well as organizations with accounts in good standing are exempt from deposits), payable by credit card at time of rental / shipment. All rental charges, airtime charges and shipping costs will be deducted from this deposit and balance will refunded to your credit card, typically within 7 days of return (longer in peak times). Phone rentals are billed from the required date, chosen by you, until the day the phone is returned to our Dublin warehouse. Out of bundle airtime billed at $1.49/ minute, text messages $0.75/ message. Additional fees will apply if equipment returned late, missing accessories or dirty. Late fees are $9.99/ day, $59.95/ week or $249.93/ month. Cleaning fee is $50/ hour, 1 hour minimum per phone. No credit for early returns or unused airtime. The renter is solely responsible for the rented satellite phone during the rental period. Ensure the phone is adequately insured when returning your rental. Replacement value for the Iridium 9555 Rental Kit is 1500 euro plus all rental, airtime and shipping charges. All satellite phone rentals subject to our rental agreement.

NOTE: If your order is placed online, an automated email will be sent to confirm all rental details. At this time you will be asked to confirm your credit card and ID details (valid drivers licence, passport or any other government picture ID). This is done for security / deposit purposes and is required prior to your rental being shipped. Our website is secure, and as such, we do not have access to you credit card information.
